Chrissy Teigen hits back at troll who accused her of having kids to ‘stay relevant’

The clap back queen has done it again.

Chrissy Teigen hilariously trolled a hater who accused her and husband John Legend of “trying to always stay relevant by speaking up and still having kids.”

Responding to the Instagram comment on Monday, she joked: “Yes I’m so bored and need attention and there’s no other way in the world to get that than to have kids.”

The rude comment came after Teigen, 38, and Legend, 45, celebrated their daughter Luna’s eighth birthday. To honor her eldest child, the EGOT winner shared an emotional tribute on Instagram Sunday that showed several recent snaps of her.

“Luna has been making us parents for 8 years now and she is truly the best daughter we could ask for,” he said in the caption. “We love you to the moon and back, my adorable girl!”

The model showed off her trademark sense of humor, commenting under her husband’s post to let him know she’d read his sweet comments to their other — and apparently less favorite — daughter, Estée.

In addition to Luna and one-year-old Esty, the couple share sons Miles, 5, and Reign, 10 months, whom they secretly welcomed last year via surrogate.

They previously lost a son named Jack about five months into the pregnancy in October 2020.

Last week, while they attended the City Harvest 2024: Magic of Motown concert, Teigen admitted that she felt the need to have another baby when Wren started walking, but Legend protested.

Teigen doesn’t just use her intelligence to defend her family online. On Tuesday, she responded to an online troll mocking Jeff Bezos’ fiancée, Lauren Sanchez.

Restaurant owner Keith McNally described Sanchez as “disgusting” while sharing several photos of her and the Amazon founder on his Instagram page, and the mother of four did not hesitate to defend her.

“She is actually incredibly dynamic, accomplished, and kind, and everyone who knows her would say the same,” she noted.
