Gypsy Rose Blanchard left husband Ryan Anderson over food hoarding and snoring: report

Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her husband, Ryan Anderson, have split after an argument over his food hoarding, according to a new report.

Sources close to Blanchard told TMZ on Tuesday that Blanchard initiated the breakup after the two “got into a big fight” over Anderson’s alleged behavior.

Blanchard, 32, appears to have been completely unaware of Anderson’s hoarding until she moved into their two-bedroom apartment after her release from prison in December 2023.

His alleged problems reportedly reminded Blanchard of her late mother, Claudine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, who drove her then-boyfriend, Nicolas Godejohn, to k**l her after realizing she was a victim of Munchausen Syndrome by proxy.

Sources claimed Blanchard was “particularly upset” by their shared fridge, which was full of “old food items that needed to be thrown away.”

Blanchard reportedly ended up throwing away the expired items, but Anderson, 37, wasn’t happy about it, and they got into a “big argument” about it.

Blanchard allegedly felt “shaken” by the fight and thought it was “scary.” [Anderson] I’ve been very concerned about the refrigerator.

To add more fuel to the fire, the former couple also allegedly fought over how they slept at night — with Anderson snoring and becoming a “human furnace,” according to the outlet.

Neither Blanchard nor Anderson directly addressed the reason for their split. However, she was the first to break the news publicly in a Facebook post on March 15.

“People were wondering what was going on in my life,” she wrote at the time. “Unfortunately, my husband and I are going through a separation, and I moved into my parents’ house down the river.”

Anderson later thanked his Instagram followers for their “support” and teased that fans “will see what really happened” between them on their upcoming Lifetime reality TV show.

Blanchard filed for divorce just one week later and also requested a restraining order.

The estranged couple married in July 2022 while Blanchard was in the midst of serving an eight-year prison sentence at the Chillicothe Correctional Center in Chillicothe, Missouri, for her role in her mother’s death.

Since news of their breakup made headlines, Blanchard was seen holding hands and showing off her husky tattoo with her ex-fiancé, Ken Orker, earlier this month.
