Here’s how much the cheapest tickets cost to see “The Outsiders” on Broadway

Critics are interested in the event that happened in the middle of a performance of “Strangers” at the Bernard P. Jacobs Theater on Broadway.

New York Post critic Johnny Oleksinski called it “astonishingly profound,” and other reviewers singled out the scene as “one of the most poignant moments of this Broadway season, or any other” and (The Washington Post), “a stunning ballet.” Violence” (New York Magazine).

And if you want to see the stunning sequence in the raucous new coming-of-age musical about rival gangs from different socioeconomic backgrounds in Tulsa — adapted from S.E. Hinton’s 1967 book and Francis Ford Coppola’s 1983 film, of course — tickets are available for all Shows “Strangers” coming.

At press time, the lowest price we could find for seats was $78 before fees on Vivid Seats for the Angelina Jolie-produced musical.

Other “Strangers” shows have tickets starting at $87 to $191 before fees.

It’s not so bad to get into a show that could end up being a major player at this year’s Tony Awards.

“The Outsiders” 2024 tickets

Now that the serious musical has officially opened, the production has settled into a standard Tuesday-Sunday rhythm of eight performances per week.

Matinees are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2pm and Sundays at 3pm

Francis Ford Coppola’s 1983 film helped launch the careers of Tom Cruise, Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe, Ralph Macchio, and Emilio Estevez to name a few.

Although we don’t know what will happen with the stars of the Broadway musical, here’s a little about the show’s leads to fill you in.

Brody Grant (Ponyboy Curtis) He makes his Broadway debut with “The Outsiders.” On top of acting, he is also an independent recording artist.

Skye Lakota Lynch (Johnny Kidd) He previously starred in the film “Dear Evan Hansen.” You can also recognize him from “Iron Fist” on Disney Plus, “FBI: Most Wanted” on CBS, or in “New Amsterdam” on NBC.

Joshua Boone (Dallas Winston) He has a great deal of acting experience. He stars in Netflix’s “A Jazzman’s Blues,” and has contributed his talents to the just-announced “Last Meals” with Samuel L. Jackson as well as the upcoming “Fleeing.”

Brent Comer (Darryl Curtis) It also makes its Broadway debut. This isn’t his first time in “The Outsiders.” He also worked in the musical at the La Jolla Playhouse.

Jason Schmidt (Sodapop Curtis) He joins Grant and Comer as Broadway debutantes in “The Outsiders.” Notable credits include the television series “Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies” and “FBI: Most Wanted.”
