Hoda Kotb insinuates that Kathie Lee Gifford is single and broke up with boyfriend Richard Spitz

Kathie Lee Gifford may be single and ready to mingle.

Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager insinuated that the former “Today” show actress and her boyfriend, Richard Spitz, have broken up.

The “Today with Hoda & Jenna” co-hosts were discussing who could potentially star in the inaugural season of “The Golden Bachelorette” during Monday’s episode of their NBC show when they teased that they “will had already understood.

“Kathie Lee Gifford!” Kotb, 59, and Bush Hager, 42, exclaimed at the same time as members of their crew applauded.

Kotb said his former co-host, 70, “would be perfect” on the ABC reality series featuring men and women over 60 trying to find love.

Pop culture guru and “E!” News host Justin Sylvester seemed hesitant and joked that there was “not enough chardonnay in the world to get Kathie Lee there,” but Kotb –– who has known Gifford for nearly of two decades –– disagreed.

“Ah, you never know! She could! By the way, she would be a 10+, and she would have all the men to choose from, and you know how attractive and cute she is,” Kotb said.

Bush Hager agreed that Gifford would be “great,” but clarified that their casting theory was “not confirmed.”

“Well, that’s because we’re starting to make things exist,” Kotb joked.

Both co-hosts then doubled down on the fact that Gifford “would be fantastic.”

Sylvester, meanwhile, chimed in to say that Kotb and Bush Hager might even join Gifford on “The Golden Bachelorette” for a few appearances, but Kotb noted that NBC might not want to see them on a rival network.

“They won’t let us go on ABC, but Kathie would be great,” she reiterated.

Gifford has kept a fairly low-key life since leaving “Today with Kathie Lee and Hoda” and moving to Tennessee in 2019, but Kotb recently shared that her friend is “living her best life.”

The former TV host has also kept quiet about her romance with Spitz and has never publicly referred to him as her boyfriend.

Gifford, however, opened up about having a “really special relationship” with a “kind, fun, healthy” man during her visit to her old stomping grounds in April 2021, although she did not reveal his name .

“To be in a place where you feel that every aspect of your life is good, that nothing is lacking, it’s a beautiful place. I’m so grateful,” she told “Today” at the time.

Gifford continued to coyly play on the identity of her mystery man a year later when she gushed to People about “someone very special” in her life.

“I found that by not talking about it, it stays special,” she added during the April 2022 interview.
