Jacob Samuel Fatu, born April 18, 1992, is a notable Major League Wrestling (MLW) championship holder. He was born in California, USA. The 31-year-old wrestler, who weighs 280 pounds and stands 6 feet 1 inch (185 cm) tall, has six children due in 2024.

Born into the famous Anoa’i family, which has produced many famous wrestlers, Jacob is a proud member of the famous Samoan wrestling dynasty. Fatu continues the historic pro-wrestling tradition his family started. Jacob’s father, Sam Fatu, also known as the Tonga Kid, was also a WWE star.

Despite Jacob’s father being a successful professional wrestler, Rikishi was a large part of his early training. He used the inspiration of watching his cousins, The Usos, on television to turn adversity into a future in wrestling. Fatu, a proud member of the Anwai wrestling dynasty, is the brother of Journey Fatu.

Jacob Fatu’s relationship with Roman Reigns

It is said that Rikishi trained Jacob Fatu before he entered the pro wrestling business. In addition to his guidance, Sean Bodhi and Black Pearl trained the Major League Wrestling superstar and played a major role in his success.

The turning point in his life came when, at the age of eighteen, he was taken into custody for robbery. After watching The Usos fight on television while incarcerated, he decided to turn to pro wrestling.

Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu are part of the same Samoan family. Rikishi and Sam Fatu’s fathers also share the same surname and are married to one of Reigns’ aunts. So, Jacob Fatu is a cousin of Roman Reigns. As a result, he is also the cousin of The Usos.

Jacob Fatu’s accomplishments are what make him a must-have star in the WWE

Since he belongs to the Anwai family, pro wrestling runs in Jacob’s family. However, he did not decide to become a professional wrestler until witnessing a match during his imprisonment. In between, Fatu began receiving guidance from his uncle Rikishi and at the age of 20, finally made his debut in 2012.

He and Black Pearl put on a winning performance in his debut match, launching an incredible career as a professional wrestler. After that, the Samoan Werewolf mostly competed for indie promotions in California, sometimes working tag matches with relatives of the Anoi family. He combines powerful punches, exceptional agility and acrobatics.

On January 13, 2024, Fatu made his New Japan Pro-Wrestling debut defeating Team Filthy with help from Shota Umino and Fred Rosser. After five years with MLW, Fatu’s free agency was announced by Rikishi on February 1, 2024.

What could Jacob Fatu’s role be in the ongoing Bloodline saga?

Since February 2024, there has been a lot of talk about Jacob Fatur’s in-ring future as everyone in the business wants to know what’s next for him. Many people questioned whether he would follow in his family’s footsteps and move to WWE, and that seems to be becoming more and more likely. The industry is buzzing with the company’s rumored decision to sign him, as their deal could change the trajectory of his professional career. Many believe Fatur has what it takes to succeed in WWE, and if the company makes the most of him he could quickly ascend to megastar status.

Fans have been curious about her role with The Bloodline and in addition to the speculation surrounding her use. Changes within the team were expected when Roman Reigns’ title reign ended at WrestleMania 40 at the hands of Cody Rhodes. The situation at Bloodline seemed cruel as Solo Sequoia kicked Jimmy Uso out of the team right after Mania 40.

Tama Tonga surprisingly joined the group resulting in the most anticipated rivalry in recent memory. Various theories suggest that Jacob may be part of Solo’s bloodline where a bloodline returned by Roman would cause civil war. Only time will tell how things will play out for Jacob and the bloodline in the coming months and weeks.
