Kyle Richards hasn’t spoken to RHOBH co-star Dorit Kemsley, denies sending her ‘manipulative’ text

Kyle Richards said she has not spoken to her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star, Dorit Kemsley, and denied sending her a “manipulative” text message.

“We haven’t talked at all but I’ve always been supportive of Dorit since she joined the show — whether it’s people saying she’s fake because of her accent — I’ve stood up for her,” she shared on TikTok on Amazon Live on Thursday.

“In saying that, when you live with someone who speaks with an accent, you can recognize the accent. I do too. With the dog, with Lisa Rinna in Hong Kong, with [Lisa] Vanderpump, you always stood up for her.

The “Halloween Kills” actress, 55, said she was “deeply hurt” by what happened during Season 13 and the reunion — especially when Kemsley, 47, revealed that Richards sent her a text message trying to convince her to keep her secrets.

“The text that was read was very painful for me. She said I was being manipulative and it was actually quite the opposite.

“I was very honest and said, ‘I have a lot at stake here right now and it’s very difficult for me. I have a lot on my plate, and I know what’s coming to me. You and I… these are stupid arguments.’

During the reunion special, which aired earlier this month, Kemsley told co-star Erika Jayne that Richards texted her the day before to try to convince her to withhold some information.

“She sent me a text message yesterday basically trying to silence me,” the 52-year-old “Pretty Mess” singer was told by the fashion designer.

It was very manipulative. “It was so calculated.”

In screenshots of the messages, Richards said some of Kemsley’s interview comments were “hurtful.” [her] feelings.”

“I heard some things you said about me off camera, and it hurt me so bad I couldn’t even say what I heard or from whom,” the mother of four said, according to the screenshots.

“I don’t want to lose another person in my life because of a TV show.”

Richards then added that producers apparently didn’t “know” that she and Kimsley were “going through a difficult time,” so she didn’t “see the need to bring it up” at the reunion.

“Relationships and you are more important to me than RHOBH and I don’t feel like ‘bringing it up’ for [sic] “At our expense,” concluded Richards, who has been dealing with marital issues with her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky.

“Especially when we’ve had enough fights to deal with as it is.”

Kemsley then asked Jen how she would feel if she received those messages, and the singer replied: “I would feel manipulated.”

In February, Richards said it would “take a minute” for her to fully forgive Kemsley for revealing the messages.

“I didn’t know at the time that she had read my text message, and it was private, and I was really shocked by that,” she said on Amazon Live. “She’s someone I care about and her family. It’ll take me a minute.” [to forgive her]”.

Although the “Halloween Ends” actress said Kemsley is her “friend” and that she cares about her, she said, “You don’t do that to your best friend. You just don’t do that.”
