While the Lakers undoubtedly have a good chance to change the narrative about these two teams in their upcoming series, LeBron shared a fairly balanced view and remained humble when asked about the Lakers’ preparation in this first-round series.

LeBron James has high praise for Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets

Since LeBron is considered the most efficient active player in the league and the greatest player in NBA history, one might a*sume that he is underestimating the Nuggets despite the success they had in their game against the Denver Lakers. “We just have to get better. All around I mean it’s a great team we’re playing against. A team that’s won a championship so they’re in a lot of big games and they know what they want to get late in the game so you know we’ve got to be very disciplined and put our minds to it for 48 minutes or however long it takes…”

King James added, “They are a great team. We know what we are capable of. But the game isn’t won in the transcript, the game is won in the 4 lines and that’s what matters”

There’s no denying that LeBron made a valid point when he concluded his speech to the media. A series is not won by long discussions and watching game footage. Instead, the outcome is decided on the court during the 48 or more minutes of play.
