Melania Trump behind Donald’s alleged weight loss as he skipped ‘sundaes’ and ‘cakes’ at Mar-a-Lago buffet: sources

Does it go from sideboard to buff?

After Donald Trump released a report from his doctor touting his “excellent” health and “reduced” weight, there was speculation in Palm Beach about how the former president lost the weight.

Some wonder whether Trump — like seemingly every big name in Hollywood, including Oprah Winfrey — might have turned to Ozempic or another weight-loss drug.

But a source told Page Six that staying away from the Mar-a-Lago buffet at his Florida club with the help of his wife, Melania Trump, did the trick.

The insider said Trump has reportedly “lost at least 30 pounds” and that “people at the club say he’s eating healthier” and less at the buffet.

They credit Melania for her better eating habits.

Trump was not seen “sniffing ice cream sundaes or a chocolate cake with two scoops of vanilla ice cream on top.”

In November, his personal physician, Dr. Bruce Aronwald of New Jersey, wrote: “I am pleased to report that President Trump’s overall health is excellent. »

He added: “Trump reduced his weight through an improved diet and continued daily physical activity while maintaining a rigorous schedule. »

Some have been skeptical of these claims.

In August, Trump’s weight was reportedly estimated at 215 pounds when he surrendered to Georgia authorities on charges related to his alleged efforts to overturn the results of that country’s 2020 election.

That’s 25 pounds less than what Trump supposedly weighed when he was incarcerated in his Manhattan case in April. Anti-Trumper Rick Wilson of the Lincoln Project tweeted at the time: “215? This is a crazy lie.

While insiders insist he’s lost weight, our source said “it’s just pure speculation” that Trump is taking weight-loss drugs “like Ozempic or Wegovy, which are very popular in Palm Beach, where everyone suddenly looks thinner!”

Another source said of Trump: “He exercises a lot. It seems good.”

His representative did not respond to us.

Trump allegedly told a cartoonist in one of his cases last month that he needed to “lose weight” after seeing her drawing of himself in the courtroom, according to an ABC News report.
