Michael Douglas has joked that he and Catherine Zeta-Jones are enticing their children to go on lavish holidays with them

They have to pay to play.

Michael Douglas joked that he and his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, are “tempting” their two children, Dylan, 23, and Carys, 20, out with them by offering them lavish vacations.

“Catherine and I are fortunate in the fact that our children Dylan and Carys still love traveling with us,” the legendary actor, 79, shared on Tuesday’s episode of the “Today” show.

“So, we just finished five weeks in India over Christmas. We are always planning next year, what our travels will be and where we will go.

Douglas – who also shares son Cameron, 45, with ex-wife Diandra Luker – said having his adult children around is fun.

“Especially when you don’t force them. [I] “Katherine, look, they really want to spend time with us,” he said. And I said: You know, it’s good.

“But we have good trips. We entice them with good places to go.”

Douglas and Zeta-Jones, 54, met at the 1998 Deauville Film Festival while promoting their films.

“I want to be a father to your children,” Douglas told the “Mask of Zorro” actress.

The couple tied the knot in November 2000 at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.

Even though Dylan and Carys have famous parents, that doesn’t mean they don’t embarra*s them sometimes.

Last year, Dylan, who is also an actor, said his father told a lot of “bad jokes”.

“More in terms of what he says, rather than who he is,” he exclusively told Page Six at the Broadway opening of Good Night, Oscar in April 2023.

“Just daddy’s stuff. [He’s a] Far from reality, bad jokes for sure!

In December 2022, Zeta-Jones, who plays Morticia Addams in the series “Wednesday,” compared Carys to her daughter’s on-screen character in the hit Netflix series.

“Carys, my real daughter when she was a little girl. 🤣,” the Oscar winner captioned snapshots of her daughter at a concert.

“I’ve had Wednesday Adams in my life for 19 years and 9 months.🤣. Morticia and I love you my little rain cloud.
