“I’ve done a lot in my life. I took my nipples out, I took my panties out,” she recalled after the publication asked her about her “fashion trend.”
“But now, I think these are the things, as a mother, as a sophisticated young lady. They’re just things that I feel like I would never do,” she explained.
“And I’m just like, ‘Oh my God, did you really do that?’ “”

While the “Work” hitmaker has some hesitation about her decision to show some skin in her younger years — perhaps like her sheer, sparkling dress during the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards — she’s also made a lot of bold fashion choices as she’s been expecting her two kids.
She spoke to Entertainment Tonight at her release party as well and revealed her bewilderment in getting her two young children to dress up every day inspired by their father’s style.
Rihanna proved her status as a style icon throughout her pregnancy as she showed off her growing belly with the form-fitting look.
She let her look shine in February 2022 by wearing a skin-tight, revealing Jean Paul Gaultier lace-up jacket while out in Los Angeles.

“For me, this dress is actually the closest thing to maternity clothes I’ve worn yet,” she told Vogue at the time.
A little more than a year later, she turned heads in a unique fur outfit by Loewe, which featured a cropped fur top that highlighted her growing belly, an asymmetrical mini skirt and an oversized faux fur scarf.
During her first pregnancy, the Grammy winner told Vogue that she hoped her belly-hugging clothes would help “redefine what is considered ‘decent’ for pregnant women.”
“My body is doing incredible things right now, and I’m not going to be ashamed of that,” she said.
“This time you should feel festive. So why hide your pregnancy?”
