TJ Holmes Hints He and Amy Robach Are Banned From Disney Parks After ‘GMA3’ Oust
TJ Holmes has hinted that he and Amy Robach are not allowed into Disney parks after being ousted as co-hosts of “GMA3.”
“I don’t think we’re allowed in the park anymore,” the reporter laughingly told former “Bachelor” star Matt James on Thursday’s episode of the “Amy and TJ” podcast. .
“We’ll check. Last time we checked, that wasn’t the case.
The former news presenter made the allegations after James, who is also an avid runner like Holmes and Robach, revealed he was “going to run the London Marathon” in April.
The 32-year-old continued: “I’m going to try to get [my girlfriend] Rachael [Kirkconnell] in a race – the Disney 5K. She loves Disney, so this is a way to get her to not be mad that I buy so many running shoes.
Holmes, 46, then said he and Robach, 51, would love to join the couple for the 5K, but didn’t think they would be allowed in.
Representatives for The Walt Disney Company were not immediately available for comment.
Before their relationship was revealed in November 2022, Robach and Holmes worked together on the ABC network – which is owned by Disney – for two years.
The former news anchors’ romance resulted in them being suspended from their jobs for almost two months before being fired in January 2023.
They started dating while training alongside each other for the New York Half Marathon in March 2022, while they were still married to their respective exes.
At the time, Holmes had been married to Marilee Fiebig for 13 years, with whom he shares daughter Sabine, 10.

He filed for divorce on December 28, 2022, almost two months after his relationship with Hobach was revealed.
As for Robach, her divorce from Andrew Shue was almost finalized when the news broke.
While Robach and Holmes continue to stand together, their exes are now dating after bonding over scandal, Page Six exclusively revealed in December 2023.
Photos obtained by this outlet showed Shue and Fiebig leaving New York together last month.
Meanwhile, the former TV journalists denied cheating on their spouses during an episode of their podcast last year.
“To be clear, we were exposed as being in a relationship, but everyone thought we were being exposed as adulterers – as cheating on our spouse – and that was not the case,” Holmes explained in December.
“At that point, we were both going through divorce proceedings.”
The couple also explained that they “chose” to love each other and would be “devastated” if their romance ended.
