WATCH Kyle Richards’ Family Complains About Bravo Picking Up Cameras Again to Film ‘RHOBH’ Split ‘Scandal’

A furious Kyle Richards was caught on camera informing her family that Bravo wanted to resume filming on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” following her split from Mauricio Umansky.

Richards revealed to her four daughters, Farrah, Alexia, Sophia, and Portia, that she had to “return to filming” Season 13 of her reality show after news of her separation from Umansky spread in July 2023.

“Because everything that happened with this — I’ll call it a ‘scandal’ — if something happened in our lives like this, obviously they would fire it even though we’re wrapped up,” the OG “Housewife” He explained in the clip From Umansky’s Netflix show, “Buying Beverly Hills,” which premiered its second season on Friday.

Umansky, 53, and his four children were curious as to who would be shooting with Richards, 55, and she avoided answering him before apologizing for “shocking” them.

“It happened so suddenly and it stunned us all. I know it was a lot, and above all, I’m really sorry. You guys have to deal with this,” she said.

Farah, 35, interrupted, telling her mother that she had nothing to be sorry about.

“But I am,” Richards said. “I’m really sorry about that because it’s not fair to you guys, but I’m used to it.”

Sofia, 24, then shared, “This time was different,” and her phone was “blowing up” as everyone communicated about the breakup.

“I opened up Instagram, and it was everywhere, and it was different this time,” she said. “And it was definitely difficult to feel like maybe I didn’t know the whole story.”

Portia, 16, also agreed she “felt scared” when she first saw the news.

“I was like, ‘Okay, this is weird. Is this really happening? Is there something we don’t know?’ I was amazed.

Richards noted that her children may have “automatically” a*sumed that she and Umansky would get a divorce.

“Exactly,” said Portia.

Alexia, 27, then addressed her difficulties being in the public spotlight amid her family’s problems.

“Unfortunately, the reality of our lives is that we have opened our family and home to the public eye,” she said in a confessional before breaking into tears.

She continued: “We owe a lot of our lives and our success to the connections we have made and the experiences we have had, and they have brought a lot of good into our lives.” “But in moments like these it is difficult.”

Alexia said a lot of people tell her and her sisters that they “deserve” the attention surrounding the family drama because they “chose” to be on reality TV.

“That’s not fair either,” she said.

Rumors first circulated in April 2023 that Richards and Umansky’s marriage was on the rocks when the actress was spotted without her wedding ring, though she quickly shut down the rumors at the time.

A source then confirmed their split in July, telling PEOPLE: “Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while but are still living under the same roof.

The insider added, “They are remaining friendly while they figure out what’s next for them and their families.”

While the duo initially denied divorce rumors, Umansky confirmed their separation last September.

“Kyle and I are human beings, okay? We have feelings, we have emotions, and we’re going through a really hard time, okay? We’re separated right now, and we’re not talking about divorce and we’re trying to deal with these things internally with ourselves privately,” he told TMZ at the time.

Amid news of their breakup, Richards has constantly sparked dating rumors with her best friend Morgan Wade after frequently spending time together.

However, Bravolebrity has repeatedly insisted that they are just friends.

Meanwhile, Umansky and his Dancing With the Stars co-star, Emma Slater, sparked romance rumors last October when they were caught holding hands, but they both denied they were dating and said they had become good friends.

Richards and Umansky married in 1996 and welcomed Alexia, Sophia, and Portia together.

The “Halloween” star shares Farah with her ex-husband, Guresh Aldjofri, whom she was married to from 1988 to 1992.
