What to say about how Travis Kelce feels about Taylor Swift writing songs about her ex Joe Alwyn

Travis Kelce is said to have “no worries” about the fact that girlfriend Taylor Swift may have drawn inspiration from her past relationships for her upcoming album Tortured Poets Oath.

“If it’s about Joe [Alwyn]“Or anyone, even if it is about him in the future, this is the artist and he loves her and does not pay attention to jealousy,” a source told the Daily Mail on Thursday.

“He recognizes that this is a big part of what makes her the person and artist she is, and in no way seeks to discourage the direction she is taking.”

The insider insisted that Kelsey, 34, supports “100 percent” Swift’s creative choices, as she explained them all to him, and he “loves everything she does.”

The source added: “They talked about the album and the content of the songs.” “Joe or any of her ex-girlfriends doesn’t care at all.”

Page Six reached out to Kelce’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Swift, also 34, dated Alwyn, 33, for six years before they split in early 2023. The couple had a serious relationship, and were rumored to be engaged at one point.

When Swift announced her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” at the 2024 Grammy Awards in February, fans immediately noticed that the title was likely a reference to the British actress.

As one Swiftie pointed out at the time, Alwyn previously revealed in an interview with GQ UK that he had a group chat with teammates Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott called Tortured Man Club.

Swift, of course, has a history of writing songs about her past experiences and having a blast in the process.

The pop star’s song “Style” is rumored to be about Harry Styles, “All to Well” is about Jake Gyllenhaal, “Dear John” is about John Mayer, and “Back to December” is about Taylor Lautner.

Last year, the latter joked that he was “praying” for Mayer, 46, as “Speak Now” was scheduled to be re-released as part of Swift’s plan to re-record all of her early albums.

“I think it’s a great album,” the “Twilight” graduate told Today.com in May 2023. “Yes, I feel safe.”

Lautner, 32, then joked: “Praying for John.”

At a recent pop-up in Los Angeles to promote the album, fans found an open book that read “Even statues crumble / If they’re made to wait,” which they interpreted as relating to Alwyn.

“Omgggg she was so excited to marry him that she was going to marry him with paper rings but he was just wasting time,” one Swiftie speculated via X earlier this week.

Another said: “My daughter wanted to be his bride so much,” and a third added: “I’ve waited six years for this ring 🥺.”

Although the songs may or may not be related to Alwyn, Kelce has reportedly already picked out his favorites.

A Daily Mail source also told the outlet that the Super Bowl champion likes “Down Bad” and “loml” more but actually “likes everything he’s heard.”

“He can’t wait to buy her album and support her this way,” Kelsey’s insider added. “He’s so excited for her and people to hear it and be there for the next stage of her career.”
