Why Taylor Swift fans think this song from ‘TTPD’ leak is about Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift’s upcoming album, “The Tortured Poet’s Department,” has allegedly been leaked ahead of its scheduled release date on Friday — and fans who heard it are convinced that, if it’s real, one of the songs could be about Travis Kelce.

Those who have listened to a song purportedly titled “The Alchemy” claim that its lyrics include references to relegation, teams, warmer seats, winning streaks, awards, cheers and even being the greatest in the league.

Some fans commented on the alleged words on social media, with many arguing they clearly related to the Kansas City Chiefs, whose NFL team he helped win the 2024 Super Bowl in February.

A fourth noted: “Wait, maybe Alchemy is about Travis, the fact that she says ‘landed’ in the song is.. something. And ‘Where’s the Grail’ is [sic] “He just comes running towards me.”

The alleged song also includes a lyric about “beer sticking to the ground,” which could be another obvious reference to the NFL star.

The “Anti-Hero” singer noticeably consumed a beer while attending Kelce’s championship game against the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium.

Her lover is also famous for drinking beer drinks. Earlier this month, he grabbed a beer with his brother, Jason Kelsey, to attend the “New Heights” graduation ceremony at the University of Cincinnati.

In another clip from the song’s alleged leak, Swift sang about “taking off” shirts, which could be a reference to Jason famously removing his shirt while watching a Travis vs. Buffalo Bills game with Swift in January.

The Grammy Award-winning artist seems to suggest that their relationship is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of love, and that she’s finally feeling like herself again.

Swift and Travis, 34, began dating secretly last summer, though they didn’t go public with their relationship until September 2023.

Since confirming their marriage, Swift and Travis have been spotted all over the world together and have been supportive of each other’s careers.

While Travis has attended many of Swift’s Eras Tour shows around the world, the pop star became a fixture at many of the athletes’ games throughout the recent NFL season.

A source confirmed to Page Six in January that the “New Heights” podcast host is planning to propose to Swift as early as this summer.

Swifties believe the hitmaker’s 11th studio album ‘Shake It Off’ also marks her split from Joe Alwyn as well as her short-lived relationship with Matty Healy.

Swift and Alwyn dated for six years before splitting in March 2023. She then briefly got back together with the lead singer in 1975.

Her album will be released on music streaming platforms on April 19.
